Born in the vibrant heart of Germany and raised as a military brat I experienced a childhood shaped by a global tapestry of cultures, which means I had the incredible opportunity to grow up across various continents from the streets of Germany to the bustling markets of Great Britain and beyond. Each new destination offered a fresh perspective and not only broadened my horizons but also posed challenges in identifying with a singular cultural heritage.

This journey sparked in me a deep appreciation for diversity and a passion for fostering unity. It wasn’t always easy to identify with a specific cultural background, which is why creating a space where diversity thrives has become so important to me.

SoFete Sisterhood Inc. is breaking down barriers, amplifying voices that have been silenced, and building a community where everyone, regardless of their background, finds a place of belonging. Something I have longed for throughout my childhood and early adult life.
