Come serve the culture with us.
This July 4, SoFete® is hosting the Culture x Cookout: A Diaspora Day of Action—a healing-centered community cookout where Black Americans, Caribbeans, and Africans unite to serve our unhoused neighbors in DC with food, dignity, and joy.
We’re calling on volunteers to help make this happen. From setting up tables to passing out plates, playing music, pouring drinks, or just offering presence—you are the heart of this movement.
Whether you’re coming solo, with friends, or repping a business, your hands and energy are welcome here. You don’t have to bring anything but yourself (though we welcome food and supply donations, too!).
