Retreat Deposit & Payment Policy

EMPRESS RISING

1. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT

  • 10% of Your Package Price is Required to Secure Your Spot: To secure your space at Empress Rising, 10% of your package price is required upfront. By submitting your Payment Plan Request, you will confirm your intent to participate in the retreat and ensure that a dedicated room is reserved for you.

  • First Payment: Once your payment plan is set, your first payment is due within 30 days from receiving your personalized payment link.

2. PAYMENT TERMS​

  • Final Payment Due: The final balance of your retreat package is due no later than January 31, 2026, which is 90 days before the retreat start date on May 1, 2026.

  • Payments may be made in full at any time before the final payment deadline.

  • Failure to Pay Final Balance: If the final balance is not received by January 31, 2026, your reservation will be canceled without refund.

  • Failure to Make First Payment: If the first payment is not received within 30 days of receiving your personalized payment link, your payment plan request will be considered incomplete, and your reservation will not be held. You will need to submit a new request to secure your spot, subject to availability.

3. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • Deposit: The deposit (first payment) is non-refundable after it is made.

  • Cancellations Before January 31, 2026: If you cancel your reservation before January 31, 2026, you will be refunded 50% of payments made beyond the deposit amount.

  • Cancellations After February 1, 2026: No refunds will be issued for any payments made after this date.

  • No Refunds: Refunds will not be issued for:

    • Late arrivals

    • Early departures

    • No-shows

    • Failure to comply with retreat policies

  • Retreat Cancellations: If Empress Rising Retreat cancels the event for any reason, all payments (including the deposit) will be refunded in full within 30 days.

  • Force Majeure: In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of Empress Rising Retreat or applied as a credit for a future retreat.

4. TRANSFER & SUBSTITUTION POLICY

  • Transfer Requests: Transfers are only allowed with written approval from Empress Rising Retreat.

  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to another individual if requested by March 17, 2026.

  • All transfer requests are subject to approval.

5. PAYMENT METHODS

Payments will be processed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit/Debit Cards

  • PayPal

  • Bank Transfers (Guests are responsible for any fees associated with bank transfers).

Payments are non-disputable unless otherwise stated.

6. TRAVEL & RETREAT INSURANCE

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against any unforeseen circumstances, such as cancellations, trip interruptions, or medical emergencies.

7. LIABILITY WAIVER

By submitting a payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Empress Rising Retreat, its organizers, staff, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, lost property, or other incidents occurring before, during, or after the retreat.

  • You assume full responsibility for your health, safety, and actions during the retreat.

8. AGREEMENT & ENFORCEABILITY

By submitting a payment, you agree to the terms outlined in this Deposit & Payment Policy. This agreement is legally binding, and any disputes will be resolved according to the laws of Maryland with disputes handled within the local jurisdiction.
